Neymar, a great player in Brazilian football, has finalized his transfer from Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) to Al Hilal of the Saudi Pro League.

Neymar claims that leaving Paris Saint-Germain was motivated by his desire to be a "global player".

"I want to write new sporting history, and the Saudi Pro League has tremendous energy and quality players at the moment. I have heard a lot and learned that I am following a long list of Brazilian players who have played in Saudi Arabia over the years, so I believe it is the desired place. Al-Hilal is a giant club with fantastic fans, and it is the best in Asia. This gives me a feeling that it is the right decision for me at the right time with the right club. I love winning and scoring goals, and I plan to continue doing that in Saudi Arabia and with Al-Hilal."

The Brazilian forward signed a two-year contract with Al Hilal after moving there for £80 million ($102 million).

In 2017, Neymar moved from Barcelona to PSG. The 31-year-old won five Ligue 1 championships and three French Cups while playing for PSG in 173 games over six injury-plagued seasons, scoring 118 goals.

Kalidou Koulibaly, Ruben Neves, and Sergej Milinkovi-Savi, who all transferred to Al Hilal earlier this summer, will join Neymar with his new team.
