Airtel Kenya opened a customer care shop at Umbrella Mall in Maralal Samburu County as the telecommunication company seeks to devolve customer services.

This brings the telco’s customer care shops to 67 in 40 counties in the country.

Speaking during the launch, Airtel Kenya Managing Director Ashish Malhotra said the expansion aims to improve accessibility and convenience for their customers.

“We are confident that this new shop will not only enhance our service delivery to the residents of Maralal and its surroundings but also generate employment opportunities within the local community.”

The shop will serve as a central hub for various services, ranging from SIM card acquisition, SIM swaps, postpaid premier products, Airtel Money services, the purchase of data devices, i.e., pocket MiFi and routers, to general support on customer queries.

The new shop ties into Airtel’s rapid network expansion drive, having recently commissioned additional sites in Samburu County to provide Airtel customers with the best voice and mobile broadband data experience.
