Chief Justice Martha Koome on Monday paid tribute to the family by mourning Butere Magistrate Jacqueline Ojwang as kind and wise.

Further, the CJ hailed the judicial officer’s generosity, courage, and warmth.

“In addition to her professional achievements, Hon. Jacqueline Muthoni Ojwang’ was a friend to many within the judiciary.”

In addition, she described Ojwang’ as a dedicated servant of justice, and an achiever and her interactions touched the hearts of many.

Before her posting to the Butere Law Courts, Ojwang served at the Kibera and Thika Law Courts.

“On behalf of the Judiciary, the Judicial Service Commission and myself, I extend our heartfelt condolences to her family, colleagues and friends. As we share your grief, we pray for strength and solace during trying time,” the Chief Justice stated.
