A woman named Susan Nekesa has taken to social media to expose former IEBC Chairman Wafula Chebukati. In her post, she details how she met Chebukati in 2020 and how their relationship blossomed into love. Susan expresses her concern over her unsuccessful attempts to contact Chebukati for the past month, which is causing her distress. According to Susan, Chebukati is currently hospitalized in an undisclosed location, leaving her in the dark about his condition and whereabouts.

In her own words, Susan says, "I refuse to be shut out of his life and estate, especially if the worst were to happen."

In her long post, she claims Chebukati infected her with HIV but was taking care of her medical bills and expenses.


Kenyan prominent blogger Cyprian Nyakundi has shared troubling updates regarding former IEBC chairman Wafula Chebukati, causing concern among many netizens. Nyakundi revealed that Chebukati has been moved to Aga Khan Hospital for further medical attention.

In light of this development, Embakasi East MP Babu has called upon prayer warriors who have been petitioning for rain to redirect their prayers towards Aga Khan Hospital.

He reiterated that they should find their way to Agah Khan Hospital and pray for chebukati for a quick recovery.

The Star Newspaper in 2022 named IEBC Chairman Wafula Chebukati person of the year. Different people came out to react to Star Newspaper's move.

Wafula Wanyonyi Chebukati was the former chairperson of the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC). Chebukati managed to withstand the political heat as well as controversies during and after the elections. His calmness could be seen by Kenyans anytime he had to do a press conference even when tough questions were posed.

Kericho Senator, Aaron Cheruiyot reacted to the accomplishment achieved by IEBC Chairman, Wafula Chebukati. Chebukati left office on January 17 this year.

Now, Cheruiyot reinstated that Chebukati chose to stand with the truth by announcing William Ruto as the President of Kenya against all odds even as the Cherera 4 ganged up against him.

The Kericho senator went ahead to state that IEBC Chairman, Wafula Chebukati will live to be remembered by generations to come due to his efforts which helped Kenya become peaceful.

Wafula Chebukati presided over the Independent Electoral and Boundary Commission (IEBC) from January 2017 until January 2023. Chebukati received criticism for how he handled the elections while in office, including claims of anomalies and a lack of transparency. However, the claims he faced were not new since all the previous IEBC chairpersons like the late Samuel Kivuitu experienced the same, especially from the opposition.
