Two individuals lost their lives in a tragic accident early Tuesday morning involving two trucks on Nairobi’s Southern Bypass near Ole Sereni Hotel.

The incident occurred at 6:30 a.m. when, according to police, the driver of an Isuzu FRR traveling from Kikuyu lost control and collided head-on with an oncoming trailer. "Both drivers died instantly, with the trailer catching fire and the driver being burned beyond recognition," stated National Police Service Spokesperson Resila Onyango.


Additionally, three passengers in the trucks sustained serious injuries, Onyango confirmed. Further details are awaited.
