The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) detectives on Friday arrested eight foreigners suspected of entering into the country illegally in Kitale, Trans Nzoia County.
In a statement on X, DCI stated that the male suspects comprised eight Somali and Ugandan nationals.
They were apprehended alongside three Kenyans believed to have snuck them into the country inside a chauffeured vehicle.
According to the DCI, the suspects were en route to Nairobi's Eastleigh estate from Uganda.

The DCI's Anti-Terror Police Unit (ATPU) is currently interrogating the suspects to determine their activities in the country.
ATPU is exploring the possibility that the foreigners may be victims of human trafficking.
