The impeachment trial against Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua is currently on halt after the DP could failed to show up during the afternoon session.
Gachagua was scheduled to take the stand in the afternoon session.
His senior council and lawyer Paul Mwite told the court that the deputy president could not avail himself because he was rushed to the hospital.
what he is ailing or where he has been hospitalised remains to be confirmed. Paul Mwite further requested the court to adjourn for two hours so that he confirms the state of the deputy president.
