Police have arrested two suspects in connection with the murder of a 62-year-old man who was hacked to death over an alleged land dispute in Gilgil, Nakuru County.
An autopsy conducted on Kasarari's body at the Annex Funeral Home in Nakuru on Tuesday revealed that he was hacked more than 10 times by his killers using a machete.
According to police, the father of 10 was found dead on his parcel of land in Gilgil on October 31st in what the family blames on a land dispute.
"The cause of death is partial decapitation involving the spinal cord. He had injuries on the head, neck, arms, and legs,” Government Pathologist Titus Ngulungu said.
A Nakuru court was to rule on December 9th on the ownership of the contentious parcel of land.

Gilgil Sub-County Police Commander Winstone Mwakio says two suspects have been apprehended, and police are also pursuing three other suspects.
