Nigeria has confirmed that strikers Victor Osimhen and Kelechi Iheanacho have left the team's training camp in Portugal ahead of a friendly match against Mozambique.
Napoli striker Osimhen, who sustained a hamstring injury during Friday's friendly against Saudi Arabia, has since returned to Italy. Although the official statement did not specify the extent of his hamstring injury, he underwent a scan on Saturday.
He left the field unassisted in the 55th minute of Friday's game, which ended in a 2-2 draw.
Nigeria said Iheanacho, on the other hand, left the camp for England for "personal reasons".
He scored a goal when he was brought on in the second half against Saudi Arabia.
