Neymar is recuperating "very well" from knee surgery, but the Al-Hilal forward's exact return to action is unknown to medical professionals.

The 31-year-old injured his left knee's meniscus and anterior cruciate ligament last month while representing Brazil in a 2026 World Cup qualifying match.

An ACL tear or rupture can take eight to ten months to heal. Brazil's team physician, Rodrigo Lasmar, stated that Neymar is dedicated to getting back to 100% health.


"From the outset, he has shown that he is adhering to our recommendations," Lasmar stated at a Monday press conference in São Paulo.
