Atalanta triumphed 3-1 over Sassuolo on Wednesday to advance to the Italian Cup quarterfinals, where they will take on AC Milan.

On loan from Milan, Belgian striker Charles De Ketelaere assisted Russian goalkeeper Aleksei Miranchuk in scoring Atalanta's third goal and the first two himself.

Milan will play Atalanta at the San Siro on Tuesday, January 10 after defeating Cagliari 4-1.

Last month, holders Inter Milan lost to Bologna in a match that went to extra time, and champions Napoli were destroyed 4-0 by Frosinone.

Romelu Lukaku and Paulo Dybala's goals in Roma's 2-1 comeback victory over second-tier Cremonese ensured a Rome derby against Lazio in the quarterfinals.

On Thursday, Juventus will play Salernitana, hoping to meet Frosinone the following week.
