Chelsea cruised into the Women's Champions League quarter-finals with a commanding 3-0 victory over Celtic on Wednesday at Stamford Bridge. England's Lucy Bronze opened the scoring with a volley in the second minute, followed by a header from Dutch midfielder Wieke Kaptein midway through the first half. Eve Perisset sealed the win with a penalty in stoppage time, maintaining Chelsea's flawless record in Group B with four wins from four.
"A fantastic result. Really pleased with the win, the clean sheet, and staying top of the table. Scoring early set the tone for a perfect night," said Chelsea manager Sonia Bompastor, whose side remains unbeaten under her leadership since she joined in May.

Real Madrid also advanced from Group B with a hard-fought 3-2 win over Twente. The Dutch side took an early lead through Jaimy Ravensbergen, but Linda Caicedo equalized before halftime. Madrid surged ahead with goals from Signe Bruun and substitute Alba Redondo, who scored in injury time. Twente pulled one back through Sophie Te Brake, but Madrid's nine points secured their place in the last eight.
"I believe we can go far in this tournament," said Madrid forward Signe Bruun. "Winning the Women's Champions League has always been a dream, and we're one step closer."
In Group A, Lyon staged a dramatic comeback to defeat Roma 4-1. Despite an early shock as Giulia Dragoni gave the visitors the lead, Kadidiatou Diani turned the game around with a quick brace after coming off the bench. Eugenie Le Sommer and captain Wendie Renard added late goals to preserve Lyon’s perfect group stage record.
Meanwhile, Wolfsburg thrashed Galatasaray 5-0, led by Alexandra Popp’s hat-trick, with additional goals from Janina Minge and Lena Lattwein. Galatasaray remains winless, having conceded 19 goals in four matches.
Lyon sits six points ahead of Roma and Wolfsburg, who face off in a crucial clash on December 11 to determine the second quarter-finalist from Group A.
