On his first outing of the year, Paul Pogba helped Juventus come from behind twice to win the Turin derby 4-2 on Tuesday.

As Jose Mourinho was dismissed from the game earlier in the evening, Cremonese, who had lost all season, defeated Roma 2-1 and denied the visitors a chance to end the 24th round of Serie A play inside the top three.

In the 68th minute against Torino, Pogba entered the game for the first time since joining Juventus again last summer.

Another Frenchman, Yann Karamoh gave visitors Torino the lead following a corner in the opening minute.

After 16 minutes, Juan Cuadrado levelled the score with the aid of a deflection.

At 41 minutes, Antonio Sanabria gave Torino the lead again with a quick first-time shot that caught Wojciech Szczesny off guard at the near post.

In extra time, Danilo equalized with a powerful header from a corner that bounced off the post and across the goal line.

Pogba replaced Enzo Barrenechea with 22 seconds remaining. With a second header from a set piece, Bremer gifted Juventus the lead for the first time. Three minutes later.

Juventus, who have docked 15 points, moved up to seventh position but are still 10 points behind Lazio in fourth place, who hold the final Champions League spot.

Before that, Cremonese's first league victory of the year moved them up from last place, one point over Sampdoria but eight points behind Spezia, just above the relegation zone.

Roma was third going into the weekend and could have finished there with a victory, but instead finished fifth, knocked out of the Champions League spots by nearby Lazio.

With a rocket in the 17th minute, Frank Tsadjout gave the home team the lead.

Roma controlled the ball but had trouble penetrating the tight defence.

Due to his passionate objections at the halftime whistle, Mourinho received a red card.
