Despite being behind by a goal from AZ Alkmaar's Tijani Reijnders in the first half, West Ham United turned the game around with goals from Said Benrahma and Michail Antonio in the second half.

Moyes and his team are now focused on the second leg of the semifinal, which will take place in the Netherlands next Thursday. West Ham United, who are looking to reach their first European final since 1976, will be hoping to maintain their winning momentum and secure a place in the final.

"I hugely believe we've got a big resilience here," Moyes told reporters. "I think we have it through the club, I think we have it through the team and we'll need it.

According to Moyes, despite the victory in the first leg, the tie remains evenly balanced. He also mentioned that their lead is only slightly narrow and not more than that. West Ham, who are currently ranked 15th in the Premier League, will face Brentford on Sunday.
