Conor Gallagher is still in the plans for Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino, despite the club rejecting a rumored £40 million approach from West Ham.
The 23-year-old midfielder from England is on the team's preseason tour of the United States and has two years left on his contract.
He made his senior Chelsea debut last season and went on to score three goals in 45 appearances. "At the moment I am happy with him and his performance," Pochettino said.

After spending the entire 2021–2022 season on loan with Crystal Palace, Gallagher, a graduate of the Chelsea academy, was voted the team's player of the year. He got seven caps after making his England debut in November 2021."The players that are here on the tour are in our plan," Pochettino said.
"Conor is in our plan. I was talking with him the first day that he arrived that he's in our plans. "At the moment, there's nothing to say."

The scenario with Mason Mount's £55 million transfer to Manchester United illustrates how Chelsea's ownership group has been attempting to prevent allowing players enter the last two years of their contracts.
Gallagher is liked by Chelsea, although they acknowledge that he might decide to go.
