Saudi Arabia’s Al Nassr has announced the signing of Bayern Munich Striker Sadio Mane on Tuesday.

He will be joining the five-time Ballon d’Or winner Christiano Ronaldo.

In Tweet by the Football Club, Mane expressed his excitement about joining the club.

Both clubs officially transferred the former Liverpool star, which the German media believed to cost roughly 30 million euros throughout a three-year contract.

Mane will receive an annual salary of 40 million euros and 10 million euros in performance-based bonuses.

Mane, 31, lamented his departure earlier on Tuesday. He still had two years left on his Bayern contract.

"Leaving Bayern hurts me. I would have wished for a different ending," he told Sky Germany.

Thomas Tuchel, the Bayern manager, reiterated those ideas when he spoke in Singapore the day before his team's friendly match against Liverpool.

"We had a long, big hug and we both agreed that we don't like what's happening now, but we think it's for the best in this situation," said the Bayern coach.

"Sometimes things don't work out as everybody wants it to work out. In person, I have always had a very good relationship with him, and this will stay. I can totally understand that he feels hurt and I also wouldn't feel happy if things like this happened."

Mane joins the team that, with the signing of Ronaldo on a four-year deal, pulled off the first coup in a wave of signings by Saudi teams.

Mane was an integral element of Jurgen Klopp's lethal front three, including Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino, and won the Champions League and Premier League in six seasons with Liverpool.

Mane scored 18 goals as Liverpool won their first English League championship in 30 years during the 2019–2020 season, which was marred by the pandemic.
