Son Heung-min has been named Tottenham's new captain after Harry Kane, who was anticipated to take over from Hugo, left to join Bayern Munich.
Hugo Lloris has been Tottenham's captain since 2015, but his future at the club is uncertain. Kane was anticipated to take over if he stayed in north London rather than travel to Germany in search of his first silverware. New signee Vice captains are James Maddison and Argentine centre-back Cristian Romero.
"It's such an honour to captain this huge club," added Son, who has 145 goals since joining in 2015.

"It was a pleasant surprise and a proud moment for me." I've already told the players they should all feel like captains, both on and off the field.
"It's a new season, a new beginning, and I'll give anything for this shirt and this armband."
Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou praised Son's leadership abilities, citing his experience as South Korea's captain.
"Sonny has excellent leadership qualities both on and off the field, and he is an excellent choice to be our new captain."
"Everyone knows he's a world-class player, and everyone in the locker room holds him in high regard."
"He transcends the squad's groups. That's not only because he's popular; it's because of what he's accomplished in the game, both here and as South Korea's captain."
Spurs will play their first Premier League game without Kane on Sunday when they travel to Brentford.
