After a brilliant first year, Manchester City striker Erling Haaland was named PFA Players' Player of the Year.
Rachel Daly of England and Aston Villa was voted on by her teammates to win the women's trophy. The awards, which the Professional Footballers' Association organizes, honor the finest male and female players in English football in 2023.

Haaland had an outstanding debut season with City, scoring 52 goals across all competitions as Pep Guardiola's side won the Premier League, FA Cup, and Champions League.
The 23-year-old beat out teammates John Stones and Kevin De Bruyne, as well as Arsenal duo Bukayo Saka and Martin Odegaard and former Tottenham attacker Harry Kane, who now plays for Bayern Munich.
"Winning this distinguished prize is an honor. It's an honor to be distinguished by your peers, and I'd want to thank everyone who voted for me," Haaland added.
"It was an unforgettable season for both the team and myself." Winning the treble was something I never dreamed possible, and to do it with such an exceptional collection of players was an honor.
"We made some incredible memories last season, and we want to do it again this year." We've had an excellent start to the season and need to keep it going."
Saka was named Men's Young Player of the Year, while Chelsea's Lauren James was named Women's.
Daly and James were vital players in England's run to the Women's World Cup final, which they lost to Spain earlier this month.
Daly of Villa scored 22 goals in the Women's Super League last season, a stunning feat for a girl who played left back for the Lionesses during their victorious Euros campaign in 2022.
Sam Kerr, Frida Maanum, Guro Reiten, Khadija 'Bunny' Shaw, and Ona Batlle were among the competitors.
