Now at 29, Yeferson Cossio expresses his satisfaction with standing two inches taller than he did before the surgery.
He disclosed that he underwent a leg-lengthening procedure to increase his height by two inches. The influencer referred to the operation as the 'most painful and most expensive' in the world. The 29-year-old, hailing from Colombia, shared that he first learned about this intense procedure while dealing with leg-related issues.
He said his undisclosed health issues, which he doesn't discuss as they are "very personal", first cropped up around two years ago.
Yeferson started delving into research on limb-lengthening surgery, and the notion of attaining greater height quickly captivated his thoughts.
The social media sensation, with an impressive 11 million followers on Instagram, openly acknowledged that his motivation was purely driven by cosmetic desires.
He explained: "Two years ago, I had an issue with my legs that I don’t really want to talk about because it’s very personal.
"There was a lot of speculation and conspiracy-type theories, which I didn’t really care for.
"But one of the things that had the most impact on me was to do with leg stretching.
"I looked into it, met with some people, and found that, yes, it exists. I got it into my head that I wanted to do it."
