Carrefour has opened its second Central Business District (CBD) branch at the Ellis Plaza along Wabera Street, bringing its total outlets to 21 in the country.
The outlet will sell fresh fruits, vegetables, fresh and dry foods, and home essentials.
The expansion is part of the firm’s goal to expand its market share in the capital city and across the country.
Speaking during the launch, Carrefour East Africa Regional Director Christophe Orcet stated that the expansion aims to make Carrefour products and services more available to their customers and ensure a more convenient shopping experience.
Its opening has provided over 60 new jobs to Kenyans and increased opportunities for farmers and other local suppliers.
