City businesswoman Dama wa Spares has finally addressed speculation surrounding her brother Bonnie’s newly launched mobile spares business. The striking resemblance between Bonnie’s brand and Dama’s existing enterprise sparked rumors that the siblings had parted ways professionally.

Speaking on March 6, Dama clarified that Bonnie’s outlets were not entirely new businesses but a rebranding of her existing branches. She explained that her brother would fully take over the Githurai branch, while she would maintain ownership of the other branch, which is set to undergo a fresh rebranding soon.

The controversy started when Bonnie officially launched his mobile spares business on March 3, an event that was widely celebrated by fans and followers. Given Bonnie’s previous role as the managing director in Dama’s company, many assumed this was his fresh start. However, the branding similarities fueled speculation that a fallout had occurred between the siblings.

The launch event attracted several prominent figures, including Bishop Kiengei of JCM Church — a former close associate of Dama. His presence fueled further speculation, given the strained relationship between him and the businesswoman.

Addressing netizens who applauded Bonnie's move, Dama subtly criticized those quick to assume a fallout in their family business. She urged the public to avoid celebrating perceived conflicts within families.

Despite the mixed reactions, Bonnie's rebranded venture is steadily gaining traction, while Dama remains a powerhouse in the mobile spares industry, solidifying her position as one of the top entrepreneurs in the business.
