The Madaraka Express train is fully booked for April 6 and 7 ahead of the Easter holidays as Kenyans travel to the coastal region to enjoy themselves.

 Most Kenyans will visit the tourist attraction centres at the coastal towns and the white beaches with their families and friends.

The latest data from the Kenya Bureau of Statistics (KNBS) showed that SGR revenue grew 6.4 per cent to Kes15.3 billion from 12 months to December last year.

Income was boosted by higher revenue from passenger service, which stood at Kes2.6 billion.
