The Kenya Breweries Limited (KBL) Tusker Festivals have positively impacted local economies by providing local vendors with opportunities.

Tusker Brand Senior Manager Catherine Twesigye says the festivals held in different counties have generated employment opportunities for locals through providing services.

“Tusker Fest Eldoret edition also had a positive impact on the local economy, providing opportunities for local vendors to sell their products and generating employment opportunities for locals through providing services,” she said.

The Tusker Fest began on April 1 in Kisumu and continued with stops in Meru, Eldoret, Nairobi, and Mombasa on April 8, 15, 22, and 29, respectively.

Through music and food, KBL's Tusker brand hosts Tusker Fest, a platform for up-and-coming artists to showcase their ability and celebrate Kenyan culture.

“We are proud to have provided a platform for some of Kenya’s most talented and exciting up-and-coming artists to showcase their talent at Tusker Fest Eldoret edition,” said Twesigye.
