Elon Musk claimed on Tuesday that a new Twitter CEO would allow him to spend more time working on Tesla but that he will keep tweeting his uncensored opinions even if it harms his enterprises.

The billionaire responded, "I don't care," when asked about the possibility that his controversial tweets could harm Tesla shares or make it more challenging to sell advertisements on Twitter during CNBC interview.

I will speak what I want to say, and if that costs me money, so be it.

Linda Yaccarino, a recognized media and advertising executive regarded as a visionary by some, has been named Musk's replacement as Twitter CEO.

Linda is clearly fantastic at that, and she's simply a brilliant executive in general; Twitter is very much an advertising business," Musk remarked.

"I'll make products, Linda will run a business,"

Musk has regularly courted controversy since he took control of Twitter in late October, firing most of its employees, re-allowing banned accounts to use the service, suspending journalists, and charging for formerly free services.

Twitter has acknowledged that it caved in to pressure from the Turkish government to remove the content before last weekend's elections, despite Musk's declared stance on free speech and his vehement criticism of content moderation around the 2020 election.

In response to criticism over the apparent hypocrisy, the business said on Monday, "We got what we assumed to be a final threat to limit the service -- after previous such threats.

Therefore, to maintain Twitter's availability over the election weekend, four accounts and 409 Tweets recognized by court order were taken action against.

At Tesla, where such technology is already used for self-driving capabilities, Musk told CNBC that he would concentrate mainly on artificial intelligence.

Regarding Tesla AI used for autonomous driving, Musk predicted that the company would experience a ChatGPT moment no later than next year.

Artificial solid intelligence has captivated people's imaginations and stoked anxieties through ChatGPT bots from the startup OpenAI, which Musk assisted in founding.

Musk asserted, "I am the reason OpenAI exists," highlighting his initial investment of $50 million.

"I invented the name.
