The National Treasury has allocated an extra Kes3.4 billion to the offices of President William Ruto, Rigathi Gachagua and Musalia Mujdavadi.

The additional allocations are in the second National Treasury’s 2022–23 Supplementary Budget.

President William Ruto’s office has been allocated Kes1 billion, followed by Rigathi Gachagua’s Kes166 million and Kes81.3 million under Mudavadi’s office.

Funds will go into salaries as well as operational and maintenance costs.

President William Ruto's executive has been allocated Kes2.2 trillion in the government's Kes3.7 trillion in 2023/2024 budget statement read by the National Treasury Cabinet Secretary(CS) Njuguna Ndung’u read in parliament.

In the b budget, the executive was allocated Kes2 trillion out of Retired President Uhuru Kenyatta's Kes3.39 trillion budget.

Whereas the State House will get a big chunk of the cash at Kes2.1 billion, the Chief of Staff and Head of Public Service have been assigned Kes571.8 million.

President Ruto’s administration has proposed a Kes3.6 trillion for the Financial Year 2023-24 with a Kes 718 billion deficit to be financed through borrowing.
