Dutch national carrier KLM has unveiled new cabins dubbed ‘Premium Comfort’ targeting luxurious travellers.
The ‘Premium Comfort’ seats will be installed on all Boeing 777 and 787 aircraft flying international destinations.
Air France-KLM General Manager for East and Southern Africa, Nigeria, and Ghana, Marius van der Ham, noted that the Airline is thrilled to introduce the new premium comfort cabin class, designed to offer a luxurious flying experience.
He noted that with the Premium Comfort seats, the Airline will cater to the needs of their customers who value more comfort.
“Customers in this cabin get to also enjoy sky priority, extra legroom and an extensive menu. We are confident that this new cabin class will elevate our customers’ travel experience, and we look forward to welcoming them on board,” he said.
The premium comfort cabin has 21 seats on the 787-9 and 28 seats on the 787-10, has a personal entertainment system and has more in-seat power than an Economy Class seat.
It also has extra legroom, space between the armrests, and more recline than an Economy Class seat.
Priority boarding is also available to passengers flying in Premium Comfort, giving them time to settle in and unwind before the flight.
KLM hopes to satisfy the rising demand for an affordable luxury travel experience with the launch of Premium Comfort.
The Premium Comfort is available daily from Nairobi, twice weekly in Zanzibar, and five times weekly in Tanzania, and will soon be available in South Africa and West Africa as well.
