NCBA Bank on Tuesday opened its 89th branch at Kahawa Sukari in Kiambu County as it seeks to enhance nationwide expansion.

The outlet brings the lender’s total branches to 90 in the country.

NCBA Bank Retail Banking Group Director Tirus Mwithiga said the branch will be key to supporting the local businesses in the area through offering personalized banking solutions.

“We recognize that SME lending is one of the most economically important and one of the most profitable contributors to banking revenues. This new branch will provide this community with different banking solutions: credit to grow businesses, asset finance, corporate, business, and retail banking.”

Further, the lender has announced opening ten more branches in the country before the end of this year as the lender seeks to expand its presence nationwide.

NCBA Bank says the expansion seeks to enhance its retail business and financial services convenience for customers.

The institution opened a new branch in Chwele, Bungoma County in June.

It became the second to be opened in the devolved unit.
