X social media application, formerly Twitter, is set to introduce video and audio call features that will not require a phone number.

Speaking on Thursday on the application, X Chief Executive Officer(CEO), Elon Musk said the calling features will work on iOS, Android, Mac, and PC.

However, Musk did not mention when the features will be available in the app.

Elon Musk has made big changes to the business and the app since purchasing Twitter, including charging for features and removing the bird logo.

On July 24, as part of a larger rebranding of the business formerly known as Twitter, Musk replaced the blue bird emblem on its website with an X.

The company's new logo, a white X on a black backdrop, is currently visible on the social media network's website.
