Kenya will host the Agro-Food Pack Exhibition from October 27th to 29th at Sarit which seeks to boost local enterprises production capacity.
The three-day expo is co-organized by MXM Exhibitors, a Dubai-based event firm and Kenya National Chambers of Commerce & Industry-Kajiado chapter.
MXM Exhibitors Organizer, Mudasir Mohammed says the expo aims to provide a platform for technology transfer, boosting inter-trade and enhancing the opening of the gateway between Kenya and other 20 countries from Europe and Asian nations.
Further, he said that the expo that targets both entrepreneurs in the Agricultural & and manufacturing sectors is a boost to attracting foreign direct investments.
“Agricultural and Manufacturing are part of the Big Four Agenda Centre and we must connect local firms to new technology to drive growth within these two sectors, by doing so we shall be spurring their growth hence they can double their production capacity and create better jobs for Kenyans,” he said.

Japheth Ogutu, noted that the Chamber is committed to boost manufacturing sector and are setting up industrial parks aimed at spurring job creation.
“ The expo is an ideal platform for Kajiado county and particularly our members to showcase the opportunities available for investors and exhibitors attending the expo.”
The Agro-Foodpack Exhibition is covering segments Agro, Dairy and Poultry, Grains and Storage, Food and Flavors, Biscuits, Cakes, Packaging and processing Machines, Plastics etc.
Some of the major participants are Foshan Biology, SNK Benterkia, Asaal Shirin, Janst Healthcare, Prestige Packing Industry, Savinda Graphics & Package.
Mohammed has urged Kenyan exhibitors to ensure that they create long-lasting partnership with foreign counterparts.
“I believe that local exhibitors will end up signing MOUs that benefit both players, for instance, we can be their agents in our countries and they can be our local partners here in Kenya,” he says.
The expo will create a pathway for technology innovators, producers, suppliers, and buyers to exploit up-and-coming opportunities in one of the world’s most attractive business spots.
An estimated 1500 exhibitors from over six countries will participate in the event.
