According to a notice by Kenya Railways, Nairobi railway matatu termini will be temporarily closed on September 24, from 0600hrs to 1800hrs.
"This is to carry out a comprehensive Ground Penetration Radar Utility Survey at the Railways Matatu Terminus and the Easy Coach Park," read part of the notice.
Kenya Railways will work in conjunction with the Nairobi City County, which intends to carry out the Radar.
"The exercise is part of the design and planning process of the new Nairobi Central Railway Station and Public Realm," it read.
However, it has given a directive that matatus from Ngong Road and Valley Road pick up and drop off citizens at Green Park.
