Investigations are ongoing after three people were killed by a mob at Kamukuya main market in Kimilili town, Bungoma county, on Thursday.
The three, including two underage boys, were accused of attacking residents using crude weapons and stealing from them.
A section of residents said their businesses and income have been affected by insecurity in the area.
Further, the residents said that the trio had been targeting shops between 8 p.m. and 9 p.m.
They called on the government to beef up security in the area.

The bodies were taken to Webuye General Hospital mortuary.
