Residents of Chepsonoi area in Eldoret were shocked after the body of a taxi driver was found dumped in a bush.
The deputy police commander of Ainapkoi sub-county, Allois Muthoka, says that police are investigating the circumstances that led to the death of the taxi driver, Patrick Muiruri, and bringing the perpetrator(s) to justice.
Muthoka also claimed that they would detain two people who police officers had earlier apprehended to assist the police in further investigations.

"We arrested two people and brought them to court, where they were released on bond." We'll arrest them since it's been decided that their offense is murder/robbery, and we'll bring them back to court," he said.
Grace Muiruri, the deceased wife, demanded justice for her husband, claiming that he was the family's winner and had been in the taxi business for a long time.
"He had been doing this job since 2008, and he was dedicated to it, so I'm not sure how they murdered him." "I want justice served," she stated.
