Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH) plans to dispose of 253 unidentified victims,239 are children.

According to the report, 132 boys and 107 girls are among the children whose bodies are yet to be identified at the hospital.

There are five sets of twins and one set of quadruplets among the offspring. The body of a fourth quadruplet is also in the mortuary.

KNH encouraged the public to identify the unidentified bodies in a notice published in local newspapers.

The hospital established a 14-day deadline to seek judicial permission to dispose of the bodies.

According to the organization's management, the deaths of 13 unidentified people were also discovered at KNH's funeral home.

They consist of eleven male and two female bodies. A man named Cheptale Aruwalo Nalel's body was also discovered. Cheptalel's body was found in Mwai Kibaki Hospital.

"Pursuant to Public Health Act Cap 242, interested members of the public are therefore requested to identify and collect bodies withing 14 days," the statement from the hospital's management reads in part.
