Residents in Kibos, Kisumu country, were shocked after discovering the dismembered body parts of a middle-aged man along the railway lines.
According to witnesses at the scene, the man died after being hit by a Nairobi-bound train in the Kibos area. Patrick Otieno, a resident who spoke to royal media, said the body parts included the head, abdomen, hands, and intestines.
Kisumu Railways police chief Evans Gatembe confirmed the incident, noting that the 6 a.m. cargo train hit the man.
According to Gatembe, the deceased appeared drunk and did not move despite the train hooting many times.

The body was brought to the Jaramogi Ogonga Odinga Teaching and Referral Hospital mortuary, according to the police chief, while investigations began.

According to Muthwani area assistant chief Fidelis Manthi, the guy committed suicide about 8 p.m. Monday, just hours after arriving home.
His body was discovered hanging from the roof of his house, and the circumstances surrounding his death are unknown because he did not leave a suicide note.
Police have taken his remains to the Machakos Level 5 Hospital mortuary while investigations continue.
