Police officers in Nyeri County are investigating a case where an unidentified man broke into a KCB Bank branch in the area.
According to Othaya Sub-County Police Commander Robert Kibuchi, the intruder forced his way into the bank through a window on the first floor of the building, which apparently lacked security grills.
"The suspect robbed the bank." "It appears he was looking for something specific," Kibuchi stated.
However, the police chief stated that no money was stolen during the incident.
"He couldn't get into the safe or the ATMs." "There was no money stolen," he stated.
Kibuchi said that police have subsequently enlisted the help of forensics and bank professionals in their investigations.
