Police have arrested a 24-year-old man in possession of f 1 liter of chang’aa and 8 bottles of 250 milliliters of second-generation liquor known as the blue Moon in Rarieda sub-county.
He was arrested in a joint effort of officers from Madiany Police Station and the Assistant Chief of Katweng’a sub-location, Mr. Esau Oduru.
The man, identified as Alex Juma Wekesa, was arrested at Kopiata Beach and locked up at Madiany police station.
Confirming the incident, Siaya County Police Commander Mr. Cleti Kimaiyo stated that the man will be arraigned at Madiany Law Courts Monday.
