A 30-year-old man from Sugutek Village, Konoin, Bomet County, is on the run after setting his house on fire after a domestic dispute.
The defendant, named by authorities as Vincent Cheruiyot, is accused of burning down his residence after an argument with his father.
Mr. Samuel Kirui, the Kimulot location chief, acknowledged the occurrence.

"I understand the young man set the house on fire after disagreeing with his father over Ksh.100," Kirui stated.
According to reports, the suspect requested the money from his father but became enraged when his father declined.
The suspect is said to have threatened to burn down his father's house shortly after burning down his house.
Kimulot police officers responded to the scene of the incident and are asking for help from the public to apprehend the suspect.
