One person was killed and several others injured in a bandit attack in Doldol, Laikipia County,

Tigania East OCPD Emmanuel Kiplagat was conducting an operation to recover livestock allegedly taken from Matabithi, Meru County, three weeks ago when the bandits struck, murdering the guy and injuring several officers in the process.

Kiplagat received a gunshot wound to the shoulder during the altercation and is currently recovering at a local hospital.

Despite Kiplagat and his team's recovery of 300 livestock before the ambush, the animals were once again stolen by suspected bandits.
