The first-year university student who committed suicide for unknown reasons left the Site and Service estate on the outskirts of Kericho town in shock and grief.
As per the police report, Faith Charity Makhulu, a 19-year-old student, committed suicide by hanging herself with a manila rope that was hanging from their residential house's rooftop in the hallway.
The student was nine months pregnant when she committed suicide, but no suicide note was discovered on her, so the cause of death was not immediately known.
One provincial administration officer, speaking under anonymity, claimed that the student had hung herself after her boyfriend had broken up with her.
