A 24-year-old has been detained after being arrested with 417 grams of cocaine, worth an estimated Ksh.1.8 million, hidden in his shoes.
The suspect, Charles Obaga Kavehere, was arrested in Thika after Anti-Narcotics Unit (ANU) detectives intercepted a Score Investment Ltd bus traveling to Nairobi from Moyale.
"Acting on intelligence information, anti-narcotics detectives augmented by the Operations Support Unit intercepted the bus belonging to Score Investment Ltd at Blue Post section of Thika, conducting a search that saw 24-year-old Charles Obaga Kavehere arrested." DCI post reads

Kavehere is still in the custody of ANU officials as they wait for him to eject the pills he consumed.
