The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) has revealed information about a man suspected to be the main culprit in the murder of a woman in Thika. In a statement on Thursday evening, the DCI called on the public to share any information that could assist in locating the suspect, identified as Ken Kimathi Gichunuku, also known as "Sultan."

Kimathi is alleged to be responsible for the death of Seth Nyakio Njeri, whose body was discovered in her friend's residence at Biafra Estate in Thika on October 10, 2024. Following the incident, Kimathi reportedly went into hiding, prompting homicide detectives to initiate a search for him.

The DCI noted that Gichunuku has a criminal history, including a recent case from September 25, 2024, in which he was accused of making death threats. Detectives believe he may be dangerous to anyone he perceives as a potential threat.

The DCI has urged anyone with information on the suspect's whereabouts to contact their toll-free hotline or report to the nearest police station.
