Authorities in Kerio Valley, Elgeyo Marakwet County, are on the hunt for a man accused of fatally attacking his brother with an arrow and machete.
The tragic incident followed an ongoing family dispute between the two siblings, identified as 33-year-old Elkana Kiprono Kisang, and his older brother, 35-year-old Edward Kiptarus Kisang.
Reports suggest the brothers had recently reconciled during a meeting at their family home in Boroko village, Kaben. Their mother, Kimoi Somokwony Suter, was present during the resolution talks.
However, shortly after the reconciliation, Elkana allegedly lured Edward to a nearby shopping center, where he launched a brutal attack. Edward sustained fatal injuries to his neck and chest, leading to his death on the spot.
