Kenya is working with Uganda and South Sudan to patrol its border points to stop bandits from escaping the nation after the ongoing security operation in the North Rift.
Kithure Kindiki, the interior cabinet secretary, stated that the Government is collaborating with its neighbours to guarantee that Kenyans convicted of crimes in other nations get trial following those nations' legal systems.
Kenya is currently working with its neighbours South Sudan and Uganda to ensure that no criminals can escape from one territorial jurisdiction to another and that those imprisoned in those jurisdictions are transferred there and dealt with following local law, according to Indiki.
Regarding the current security operation, Kindiki stated that it serves the national interest and tries to ensure the safety of residents and visitors.

He urged Kenyans and other partners to cooperate with security forces to make the security operation successful.
To isolate criminals and create a barrier between them and the rest of us, he continued, "we appeal for patriotic solidarity of all Kenyans, the allies of Kenya, and all stakeholders, including the media."
Kindiki declared that there would be no extension of the three-day amnesty for turning in illicit firearms.
The security chief reported receiving 39 guns, 136 rounds of ammunition, and 1 FRG as of Friday (Fragmented Rifle Grenade).
Kindiki claimed that, except for a few minor incidents, the curfew order implemented in several areas of the North Rift is in consideration.
According to him, 124 people have been detained and charged with violating curfew restrictions.
He emphasized that the security deployment in the North Rift region will endure through the current effort to drive out terrorist bands that have been stealing livestock for almost a century and will remain permanent.
But he added, "We are not taking our eyes off other security challenges the nation is confronting.
He emphasized that the Government is constantly on guard to identify, prevent, and neutralize any security danger within the nation's boundaries.
