Famous Kikuyu benga musician and DJ Fatxo's attorney, Charles Mugane, claims his client is ready and willing to assist with the inquiry into interior decorator Geoffrey Mwathi's death.

Lawrence Njuguna, also known by his stage name "DJ Fatxo," has allegedly been in front of the investigating officer on each occasion since the incident on February 22.

Charles Mugane told Inooro TV that his client "is cooperating with the continuing investigations" and that he has been readily available every time he has been asked to appear in court since Geoffrey's passing.

The attorney also offered his condolences to Mwathi's family but stated that his client and his friends found the situation "tough."

He continued, "To Jeff's family, we want to express our condolences. This situation is challenging for my client and his pals, but the truth will come out in the end.

The central puzzle revolves around how Mwathi, an interior decorator whom the DJ had met through a reference, came to be found dead in front of the DJ's Redwood apartments on Thika Road.

According to testimony made by the DJ Fatxo, his cousin, and his personal driver at the Kasarani police station, Mwathi committed himself by jumping to his demise from the 10th floor of the DJ's residence after a night out.

The Redwood flats' CCTV footage captures Mwathi returning to the DJ's unit at around three in the morning, along with DJ Fatxo and three unidentified women.

The DJ's relative was one of the males who arrived at the residence in a different automobile, according to the police report.

At about 4 am, Surveillance captured the DJ leaving his apartment with the three women, leaving Mwathi inside the home with the other two guys.

Uncertainty surrounds what occurred, but CCTV footage captures two guys scouting the area in the apartment complex's parking lot.

The cousin of the deejay can also be seen making several calls before entering the flat.

Mwathi was shown on camera plunging from the apartment seven minutes later, confusing the neighbours and the police.

The late interior decorator was discovered dead with his pants pulled down to his knees, according to his uncle Muchoki Mwathi.

It had been 72 hours since the occurrence, so pathologists at the City Mortuary, where an autopsy was conducted, could not ascertain whether the late Mwathi had been sexually abused.

The late Mwathi jumped to his death, according to statements made in court by the disc jokey and the two men at his home at the time of the occurrence.

They assert that Mwathi's death was only discovered after the DJ informed them of the circumstances outside the apartment when he arrived home at about 9 am.

Mwathi's family has disputed the suicide story and asserted that the interior decorator had never given suicide any thought.

The matter is still under investigation.
