Michael Muriuki, the Catholic priest kidnapped from his parents' house in Mau Narok on Wednesday, has been found in Nakuru.
Father Muriuki was reportedly tied up with ropes in Kaptembwa, Nakuru West, on Thursday morning. Good Samaritans airlifted him to Nakuru Referral Hospital.
The priest was allegedly kidnapped at his mother's house at 8 p.m. by unknown people who drove him away on Elementaita Road in his Subaru Forester, registration KDK 353L.

According to police records, his phone signals were detected in different spots throughout Nakuru town, and his vehicle was discovered abandoned along Ogiligei Street at 9:30 p.m.
Furthermore, more than Ksh.100,000 was withdrawn from his accounts throughout town, and the vehicle was discovered abandoned with a running engine, according to police.
The priest was transferred from Elburgon in Molo to Holy Cross Parish Nakuru.
In other news, Police in Kisumu East sub-county have discovered an AK-47 rifle thought to be part of the guns stolen last year from Kipasi police post in Mbita, Homabay county, by unknown criminals.
According to Kisumu County police chief Alphonse Wambua, the firearm and 16 ammunition were recovered hidden inside a house in the Landi Ouko district of Kasule, within Kolwa Central.
Wambua claims the owner of a rental residence discovered the pistol while she was attempting to fix a TV antenna and discovered the weapon hidden inside a jacket.
According to Wambua, the gun magazine dropped from the roof onto the floor, and upon closer inspection, they located the AK-47 before calling the local chief, who notified the police.
He said DCI officers processed the area, and the firearm was later brought into police custody as investigations began.
Wambua believes the gun was one of four stolen from the Mbita police station and that they are following up on leads to catch the suspects.
