Detectives believe she may have known or worked with the primary suspect because they were together earlier that night in Maigo's Woodley home.

They also discovered that Maigo's assailant used two kitchen knives in the bedroom attack. According to phone records and CCTV footage analysis, Maigo was last seen at a prominent entertainment club on Ngong Road on Thursday evening. He met three women there, including Andalo.

Police went to the club as part of their efforts to identify everyone who met him there. It was then that they recognized Andalo. Detectives believe the prime suspect is among the two officers who have yet to be identified.

According to an examination of Maigo's phone, he sent money to several people on the Thursday before his death. Andalo received Ksh.650 from Maigo as part of the transactions.

According to authorities, Maigo is then seen heading away with a lady who is thought to be the main suspect. According to phone data, they went to another entertainment venue on Kilimani Road before returning home around quarter past ten.

Two kitchen knives found near Maigo's body showed identical sets of fingerprints, indicating that Maigo's killer used two blades. Detectives are still trying to figure out whether she stabbed him with both knives simultaneously or one after the other.

With nothing stolen from Maigo's home and 25 stab wounds on his chest, neck, and face, detectives suspect a crime of passion or a rage-filled killer.

As he exhibited no defense injuries, samples were taken from the body for additional study and toxicology tests to determine if he was poisoned before the murder.
