A 62-year-old guy who allegedly killed his son by slashing him with a panga on the head is being held captive by police in Narok.

Samuel Landichi killed his 12-year-old son inside his farm for unspecified reasons, according to a police investigation.

Narok DCI officials looked into the event after it was reported by the assistant chief of the Olengape sub-location, Douglas Sadera, and have since taken pictures of the site.


The body of the minor has been transported to the Olenguruoni Sub-County Hospital Mortuary for an autopsy.

Landichi is being held at the Olokurto Police Station in the interim while additional police action is awaited.
