Bahati made a second marriage proposal to Diana in June. In a moving message posted alongside the news, Bahati expressed his unwavering devotion to his future wife.

Initially, the couple engaged in January 2019 at Thika's sold-out New Year's Eve performance by Bahati.

Diana, a mother of three, gladly accepted Bahati's passionate proposal while overcome with emotion, marking an important turning point in their relationship.

The couple, who have drawn attention for their love story, will exchange vows on December 12, 2023.

Despite having a traditional wedding in 2017, the pair chose to get married officially after Diana Marua announced in June 2021 that they were not legally wed.

Diana added that before making it official, they wanted their kids to grasp the significance of seeing their parents walk down the aisle.
