Crescent Baguma, widely known as Beenie Gunter, faced arrest at a Dubai airport as he endeavored to return to Uganda accompanied by his baby mama and girlfriend, Nickie Berry.
The arrest stemmed from a conflict among music promoters that escalated into a physical altercation, resulting in property damage. Subsequently, the singer was moved to Abu Dhabi and accused of his role in the brawl.
The incident transpired on January 8th, 2024, during Beenie Gunter's scheduled performances in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
Eddy Kenzo called for unity among fellow artists, underscored the importance of vigilance to avert similar incidents in the future, and advocated for solidarity within the artistic community.
