The British media seems to be throwing a fit after the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were spotted in Jamaica for the new Bob Marley film premiere.

The couple made an appearance at the premiere of 'Bob Marley: One Love in Jamaica,' walking the red carpet together, Meghan in a black ensemble and Harry in a suit without a tie for the evening out at the Carib Theatre in Jamaica's capital, Kingston.

Meghan and Harry are showing them how it’s done. Her elegance, posture, how she effortlessly brightens every room she enters should be 📚at every major uni. Again,it’s clear why the others secretly despised yet try so hard to copy her. The RF FaFo🤷🏻🤣#duchessofsussex #princeharry pic.twitter.com/IkSPGlnNxC

Harry and Meghan were pictured on the red carpet beside several famous figures, including Jamaican Prime Minister Andrew Holness and his wife Julie.

The pair also photographed with the president and CEO of Paramount Pictures and Nickelodeon, Brian Robbins, and his wife Tracy James.

The British media, however, felt that the couple should not make any public appearance while part of their immediate family is in the hospital.

The British media has also reported that Harry and Meghan's visit to the Caribbean country is a blow to King Charles's reign as Jamaica had expressed wanting to leave the Commonwealth.

According to an article by mail online, the couple's move is insensitive because King Charles and the Prince of Wales are undergoing surgeries.

"Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were branded 'insensitive' today after posing with Jamaica's prime minister who wants to ditch the monarchy - just as King Charles III prepares for prostate treatment and Kate recovers in hospital from abdominal surgery." the article noted

Jamaica's Prime Minister Andrew Holness announced that the country was planning to leave the commonwealth two years ago during a royal visit from the prince and princes of Wales.
